Lavishly dry hopped with Sabro and Motueka, this New England style IPA yields aromas of coconut and tropical fruits. Super smooth with a biscuity malt base.

Can. Hazy gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and has good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a pleasing light creamy sweetness. Sabro hops kick in immediately with bright juicy pineapple and a nice coconut vibe. Citra providing juicy bright orange, tangerine and mandarin. Light finish. Lovely! A really nice juicy hop combo. Sabro still has plenty to offer even though it has been, in my book anyway, slightly overshadowed by the monstrous HBC1019.

Keg pint at the Pheasant Inn and Brewhouse during a mate's wake on 26th March 2024. Mini-mist in the golden orange body, white crown. Pineapple seemed to be the main tropical fruit I found, subtle coconut traces maybe, semi-sweet and I though it interesting and fine.

Tap at bianco a Rd. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is milky wheat, lactose. Orange creamsicle, spicy. Palate is milky sweet, spicy, moderate carbonation. Flavour is milky wheat, grass, orange rind, grass, mango orange rind, grass, midget gems, chalky, vague Sabro. Meh.

Keg at Bianca Road, Bermondsey, 18/10/23. Clear light golden with an almost reddish hue and topped with a thin off white head. Nose is mellow citric zest, grass, pineapple, toasted malts. Taste comprises light coconut shavings, mellow tropical fruits, sweet edged, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with the slightest tickle of Sabro. Passable ... possibly the least Sabro tasting beer of one billed as such!

1/2 pint draft @ Bianca Road Taproom.

On tap at Bianca Road Brewery in Bermondsey. Hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, tropical impressions, coconut, fruit juices and slight cheese melt. Taste is bitter. Medium body. Drying fruity finish. Lovely.

Can picked up at Art & Craft SW16 and sampled/drain poured at home (02/06/2022) - Nasty muddy dark brown unappealing coloured pour which is sweet syrupy and very bland, not getting any Sabro or motueka here at all, maybe a batch control issue but either way a total drain pour. Shame seeing as the write us describes this as their Best IPA. --- Beer merged from original tick of Sabroso! on 26 Mar 2025 at 12:33 - Score: 1.
