330ml bottle from RusBeerShop in Moscow. Pours opaque gold with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is pomelo, grapefruit, malt. Taste is medium sweet. Light bitter finish. It’s more like a fruit beer and not a good one at that.

Cloudy pale amber with a decent off-white head. Grape fruit, pomelo, resin, honey floral notes. Light to medium sweet. Light hop bitterness. Odd stuff.

330ml bottle. Clear amber with small off white head, decent retention. Aroma is a big hit of the fragrant pomelo fruit, tangerine, some malt background. Taste has a background a wheat malts, but has a good fruitiness to this and a fragrant element from the pomelo as well as a citrusy hops. Light to moderate body, soft carbonation. This is the best of the Bira 91 beers I have had to date, quite tasty.

Bottle, bb 6/23. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma of pithy pomelo, breadcrust, some citrus blossoms too. Quite sweet with almost candied citrus. No real depth of malt flavours. After a while hop aromatics and bitterness come gently through. Solid drop.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain and orange. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long fruity, grainy and malty finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

It’s alright! Lightly fruity. Inoffensive.

A real Indian India Pale Ale - how exciting! 0,33 flaske (Bira 91 The Indian Pale Ale 4,5%) fra Fristeriets nyopprettede avdeling for kortreiste produkter. Klar gylden med fint skum som varer. Mild aroma og deilig smak med mandarin/clementin/lime, søt rosa grapefrukt og hint av aprikos i en slank og fin maltkropp som også inneholder en viss porsjon mersmak. En oppfriskende overraskelse, og jeg skal nok være på utkikk etter 7%-utgaven i London om noen uker.

330 ml bottle, from Helgø Meny Stadionparken. ABV is 4.5%. Slightly hazy orange colour, moderate white head. Distinct aroma of citrus fruits / zest. Citric mouthfeel, light bodied. Citric and zesty flavour, a distinct bitterness throughout.
