Keg draught at Dough & Brew, Warwick. Purplish red, the colour of Ribena (unsurprisingly) with a pink head. Blackcurrant aroma, some sour cherry, vinous notes. Taste is full of blackcurrant, slightly tart, going toward a little bit of sweetness nearer the finish. Light body, low to medium carbonation. Decent if very predictable.

can at home picked up from VC online. A hazed deep purple berry red coloured pour with a rocky pink head. Aroma is pithy dehydranted berries, powdered berry drink, yogurt funk, tangy earthy blackberry. Flavour is composed of tangy pithy berries, blackcurrant, tangy, yogurty funk, prickly. citric acid. Palate is tangy and tangy, citric acid, high prickly carbonation. Harsh and not that drinkable.

Keg @ The Boot, Wellington. Pours a hazed reddish purple, vibrant blackcurrant ribena aroma. Good fruity profile, nice blackcurrant definition, nicely balanced sour edge.. excellent as always

Can at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a murky maroon with a small pinkish head and good lacing. Aroma is mainly malts but with some hints of blackcurrant. In the mouth it’s briefly sweet before blackcurrant sharpness kicks in. But if you ignore the tartness, the underlying sweetness is still there. Its OK I suppose, but not my kind of beer at all – sorry Erika !

Up to the standard you'd expect from Vault City. Very drinkable
