Bottle at home. Oh damn this is pretty great. Super complex from the start. Big butterscotch, oak woody of course, tobacco, caramel, going into deep dark fruity notes behind. Woody all the way and stating more sweet but lingering bitterness in the finish. Alcohol doesn’t come across in a bad way but is boozy and warming in a nice way. Pretty special.

Splurged for this on tavour a while ago, decided to crack to say bye to Mike B. Pours clear mahogany, small beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is rich dark sugars, werthers, bourbon, vanilla, oak, caramel, hint of molasses and a tiny touch of anise. Flavor is pretty sweet, light bitter. Full body. Super nice, but 7X better than straight jacket? No fucken way.

Bottle pour from Valley Beverage. Murky dark brown with nice viscosity, light ring of head and no lacing. Aroma is mellow and spicy bourbons, sweet and tart fruit, caramel. Taste is mellow and spicy bourbons, caramel, fig. Smooth, soft carbonation, somewhat thin body, finish as taste. Quite good but hard to live up to the expectation this created.

Beer # 15,000…. 375 ml bottle shared by tfontana. Dude, DUDE, Tom, thank You! Aroma has oak, rich toffee, tobacco and yeast. Dark fruit forward with some tobacco and spice upfront. The sweeter Heaven Hill toward the finish. Maybe a tad thin on the body but crazy depth in flavor.

375mL bottle shared by tfontana on 4/12/24. Congrats to Airforcehops on 15k! Clear mahogany. Not head. There's the Woodford. Super oaky. Juicy raisin and plum with good acidity. Vanilla, chocolate and prune lingering. Bit of tobacco and good attenuation seemingly. No booze. Spice, tobacco, spice box and treacle. Malty and juicy with good attenuation and no booze. Oaky but not raw or tongue-drying. Lingering cherry, vanilla, plum and raisin. Been five years since my last double oaked and it's still a superlative beer. This one seems like it could use a bit more time to let that wood soften and things more integrate. But tough to scoff at here.
Congrats Chris 15k rates and Tom for getting the bottle. Aroma is toffee, fig, bourbon, oak, spice. Taste is smooth, creamy, ABV is hidden. Flavor is wonderful and blended perfectly. This is a great beer. Woot!

Bottle, at share, thanks to Ryan. Pours dark black. Fig juice, dark chocolate, cherry, oak, sweet vanilla, dried mango, bourbon, gorgeous sweet bourbon, raspberry, toffee. Gorgeous oily body. Phenomenal.
I feel like a deal with evil was better than this but maybe just coming off the mead and honey train. But dang is it warming up nicely. Thick #bil coming out so nice with thicccc figs and chocolate.
