On tap at the brewery in Amberg, Friday 18th October 2024. Pours hazy light amber with a white head, not what I would describe as a classic Helles, it's a bit on the sweet side, a bit rustic, biscuits, light vanilla and some chewy caramel flavours dominate, not so much in the way of hoppiness, but...it's absolutely fine.

Draft at the brewpub in Amberg during the Bamberg Jolly, January 2014. Pours lightly hazed gold with a frothy, white head. PLeasant biscuity nose, some hay, light cereal. Light to medium sweet flavour with nice rounded biscuity malts, mild bitter straw, cereal flakes. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly clean to finish, more pale biscuits, cereal. Very drinkable.

Tasted at the brewery in Amberg. Aroma has some hops and banana. Yeasty, bit hoppy flavor with pear and cabbage. A bit watery. Tasted in August 2016 as Schlodi Kult. Swing top bottle. Floral maltaroma. malty sweetish, bready flavor with a noticeable floral hop character. Just a bit more than medium bodied. Decent.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leich trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, hopfig, grasig. Geschmack getreidig, malzig, herb.

Draught at the brewpub in Amberg. Bamberg Jolly Day 1. 24/01/14. Hazy, bright yellow coloured beer with a lasting white head. Soime lace. Funky nobel hop aroma with some parmessan cheese. Flavour is clean pils malt, earthy spicy hop. Slight bite of acid / lacto in the finish. Medium light body. Light floral hop note.

Bamberg Bash, Day 1. Brewpub draft outside the shut pub. Hazy gold beer, good white head. Palate is light and crispy. Minerals. Clean pale malt, whisper of sulphur, barely there. Very light hop bitterness. Crisp finish. Nice palate.

Day 1 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly tap at Schloderer, Amberg 24/01/14. Hazed golden yellow with a good sized white head that dissipates then retains. Nose is light piss, citrus, earthy, damp straw, cereals, pale malts, hint of bread dough. Taste comprises straw, pale malts, cereals, light lemon notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp clean closure. Solid Helles.

Schlodi bottle. Herbal and tropical aroma, light mineral. Cloudy yellow, offwhite big creamy head. Fruity start - a bit of banana and pineapple there. Mellow creamy mouthfeel, ok chewyness. Dry fruity finish - in a blindtasting I would have guessed this is a Weizen.

As Schlodi Kult. Appearance is golden, nice white head. Taste is malty sweet and very moderately carbonated.
