On tap at the Underdog, Dublin on 16th July 2025. Dark brown with shallow tan foam and scant lacing. Rich roasty malt aroma with smokiness. Rich and intense smoked roasty malts with cake fruits and a good dark chocolate. Chocolates, roasty malts and smokiness shape a glorious finish. Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Possibly the best beer I have tasted in Ireland to date.

Tap at Winter Affair '25. Notes are brief. Very classic example of style, with lots of beech smoke, bacon, and also necessary strength to back it up. Excellent piece.

Tap at Winter Affair 2025. Dark brown body, lasting off-white head. Farty smoke, caramel and wood in the aroma. Smooth, lean, taste, caramelly, nice maillardish presence, ending in smoke and warmth a good one!

From tap at 25.01.25, Cardinal, Stavanger, with Johan and peopøe from his 60th birthday celebration. Ebony. Some beige head. Aroma and taste smoked sausages, bonfire, sweet medium roasted malt and hop bitterness.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Nice robust smoked malt aroma with notes of caramel, some tobacco, hint of chocolate. Moderate sweet and mild bitter. Lovely stuff.

Fra fat på Mi2 Cardinal 15.1.25: klar rødlig mahogny med fint skum som varer. Mørke karamelchokolader, røykmalt, sur kaffe, bacon og bjørnebær. Røyksmaken dominerer i avslutningen.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Deep reddish brown colour, moderate head, slightly off-white. Moderate smoke in the aroma, decent. Distinct smokey flavour, fairly dry.

Tap at Juova, Helsinki. Color is clear Brown with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Grain, some chocolate, tar, some Smoke, malts ... little bit of easy.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Dark mahogany colour, small head. Smokey ham meets apples and caramel up front. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and tarry charcuterie smoke. Mid bitter finish.
