Madrí Excepcional is a unique collaboration between the brewers of La Sagra and Molson Coors, with all the taste characteristics of a modern European lager. Full of flavour and aroma at 4.6% ABV with a light golden colour, Madrí Excepcional is crisp, clean and refreshing with a short, bitter finish.

clear yellow, huge white head. aroma is flowery, sweet, like a belgian blonde, not like a spanish lager. flavor is somewhat citrus fruity, i think from yeasts, then malty balance .

5/3/2023. Bottle from Premier Stores, Spring Road. Pours clear deep golden with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is grainy, citrus, malt, caramel, straw, bready edge. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Oily with average carbonation. Quite liked it, certainly expected something worse than it was.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Sainabury’s. Pours clear yellow-gold with a small, fading white foam head. Lightly sweet, fairly bland, some white bread, minimal bitterness, faint biscuity notes. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Simple, lightly sweet cereal, a little bland malt, cereal. Quite basic. Even within the cheap lager category (which I love), this beer is a bit uninspiring.

Bottle, of what seems to be a suddenly ubiquitous beer. Nose is grain and the faintest waft of citrus. Taste is grain, malt, straw leading to caramel light citrus in the finish. Very bland, but better than the car crash I was anticipating

Dorada limpia de no mucha espuma blanca. Aroma escaso ligeramente cítrico. En boca es ligera, cereal, muy bebible, de amargor moderado y tirando a seca en el final. Refrescante.

Draft @ Parkdean Resort, Lizard Point. Clear pale gold sporting a decent white head. Faint hints of citrus fruits and a little bit of grains, that’s it. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Bland as can be. At least it was a perfect match to that uninspired performance of bubblegum pop by some poor young ladies to a room full of bored folks who couldn’t care less.

Keg @ Old Cooper's Malt House, Church Stretton after a particularly wet evening ride in the hills nearby. Clear gold pour, good pure white collar. Aroma has buttery sweet malt. Taste is crisp with a pleasant malt sweetness, moderate carbonation, refreshing.
