Vi er nå på oppløpssiden på en superb Mi2 på Cardinal, og det er flere timer siden der var et edru blodomløp i sikte. Semermonimester Melberg avslutter kvelden sterkt med denne godbiten av en dessert. Nesten helt svart med kort skum. Lekre, mørke dessertchokolader med fyll av karamell og brandy, vanilje, nytraktet luxuskaffe og hint av treverk. Vi er nå påført et ølassistert hybris, så hjemturen vil være sorgløs.

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours dark brown to black with little light brown head. Aroma of ashes, dark chocolate, some fruity notes. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness and fruityness. Medium bodied.

330 ml bottle, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 11%. Black colour, small tan head. Aroma of coffee, hints of chocolate and vanilla. Sweet flavour, notes of roast malts, chocolate and coffee, also distinct bittering hops.

bottle very dark, settles black with a brown head. aroma of dark chocolate, chocolate-caramel, alcohol, peanut butter, faint apples. apples could be an artifact from coffee. Flavor is awesome, lots of coffee, lots of roasted malts, vanilla, coconut, caramel. aftertaste is coffee , vanilla, roasted malts, chocolate caramel.

330ml bottle. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla. Taste is very rich, bitter coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, roast malts, molasses. Full bodied, smooth. Nice but not what I was expecting given the name, no real sweetness anywhere!?

Bottle at home, from HOTM online, 22/05/22. Black with a decent tan covering that thins to a decent lasting swirl. Nose is chocolate, coffee, brown sugar melt, hint of Turkish Delight, mellow roast. Taste comprises chocolate, spice, dark malts, coffee, toasted brown sugars, molasses, roasted tones. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. Decent pastry affair ... sweet as you'd expect with Tiramisu as the base but overall well balanced.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is huge coffee, roasted, vanilla, chocolate, meaty, taste is similar, quite bitter.
