A lightly hazed golden pils with a thick frothy creamy lacing white head. In aroma, nice crisp biscuit malt with grassy German hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy German hops, light mineral notes, very nice and crisp. On tap at brewery.

Keg at Himmeriget, CPH, 17/11/22. Moderately hazed golden yellow with a white cap. Nose is crisp citric peel, pale malts, dusty hops, lemon rind. Taste comprises pale malts, cereals, grass, lemon tinged straw, herb. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light hoppy edge. Decent.

Draught, full pint at Brew by numbers at their outlet in Enid Street. Clear golden colour with a big white head. Sweet aroma with bread, citrus, honey, slightly toasted note. Somewhat grainy. Not that soft and easygoing, far from the best German examples. Disappointed. Somewhat.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe (at 4%). Pours a hazy golden yellow with a medium sized white head and good lacing. The aroma is mainly grains with a hint of oranges. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy with medium carbonation. Oranges to the fore in the flavour with some underlying malts too. Later it becomes quite bitter with herbs and just a touch of spice. Bitterness is even more pronounced in the slightly dry finish. This is a decent Pilsner.

On tap at BBNo.l with Harry. Hazy dirty gild colour lasting white head. Some bready aroma. Odd pilsner. expecting it to be more bitter. soft. some noble hop presence. some white flowers. OK bit too yeasty. would prefer something cleaner.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from BBNo online. Pours totally clear yellow-gold with a small, creamy white head. Really clean pils. Lightly sweet, pleasant dry biscuits, straw, hints of pale dough, grass, floral hops. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Clean finish, dry, modest bitterness, more crispy pale biscuits, straw, some lingering grassy notes. Sound.

Can at home from BBNo online store. A almost clear yellow straw coloured pour with a lasting fluffy white head. Aroma is semi sweet, earthy grains, vanilla, wet grass. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, earthy grains, straw, leafy green hops, little fennel / liquorice, authentic. Palate is semi crisp, moderate carbonation , light tang. Lingering earthy grains.
