Here's our 2023 Festbier! An elevated Helles lagerbier. Bestmaltz Munich malt brings added bread crust, slightly more hops than usual by way of the Spalter Select variety and to cap it off a nudge upwards of the abv to 5.5%. Truly a special lager to celebrate our migration into autumn.

Malts: Heidelberg Pilsner, Bestmaltz Munich
Hops: Spalter Select

Draught, half-pint shared with Finn at White Horse. Spotty lacing from a slowly diminishing white head, bright warm golden body. Moderate smell of noble-herbal hops and pale malts. Fine balanced taste profile with herbal hops, grass, and bread-like malts. Distant bitter malt-fruity finish. Fine depth to it. Clean on the palate. Pretty decent. (London, 03.10.2023).
