This is a classically-styled West Coast Red IPA. Simcoe, Chinook and Columbus hops combine to deliver a resinous profile with a citrus undertone. The bitterness helps to balance the deep caramel of the malts.

Cask gravity at LHG Brewpub Bristol. Hazy russet colour lasting beige head. Wonderfully hoppy beer. The hops burst out oif the glass. Its stunning. Intense hops. But balanced. So good. Lovely red ipa. So tasty. Full of west coast hops flavours and then some spicy red rye malt flavour. Outstanding.

Can from Hop Burns and Black. Pours a murky amber with a short off-white head that recedes. My blocked nose probably didn't help matters, but still got good going pine and bramble on the nose, a little orange, some dark malt notes. Light-medium sweetness, complex bitterness that moves through phases - initial citrus gives way to strong woody hops, then a dry bitter finish that's pretty clean. Gently prickly carbonation, medium body, slightly astringent but not unpleasant finish. Pretty decent.

Yeah, that really hits the spot. Gooey pine, ripening citrus, lightly toasted caramel, toasted malts, nip of honey, candied orange peel. Delicious. Moreish. Outstanding.

Can. Beer Central Sheffield. Had this a bit back but couldn’t be arsed adding it. Hazed reddy amber. Super sticky loose of white foam. Big jammy hoppage. Marmalade. Piny. Sweet and sticky up front. Nicely pithy herbal bitterness. Lots of body. Lingering bitterness to finish.
