Initial light fragrance. Smooth on the palate with good mouth-feel allowing malt flavour to predominate. Slightly sweet finish combined with distinctive light hop bitterness.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Kentish Town, London, 20 Nov 2013) Golden colour with brief, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of grainy malt, citrus, lemon peel and grass. Malty, fruity taste with grainy malt, peaches, canned fruit, honey and a generous grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

Cask, Flower Pot, Derby. Yellow gold colour, no head. Very fragrant hoppy aroma. Flavour was fruity and sweet and reminded me of natural yoghurt mixed with honey. Not a huge amount in the finish but quite interesting.

Cask at the Smithfield, Derby. Amber with a thin cream head; citrus aroma; watery body, rather austere, then citrus flavours develop, followed by a honey sweetness.
