Yes, we brewed an IPA, and yes, we're still ourselves! It's the beauty of collabs: to brew something we wouldn't necessarily brew by ourselves!
So, the Frouze Connection is a non-refermented IPA, its saturation is obtained in the tank. It's massively hopped and dry-hopped, but only with European hops. It's fruity and refreshing, but it's not a fruit juice: a real beer instead, with a resinous side to it and a nice bitterness! Its hazy character comes from the oats we added, which also make it pleasantly mellow.
FYI: it's our French friends, together with our French brewer Paul, who are responsible for its sarcastic name...

Draught Huge dense white head, lacey, over fully hazy yellow beer. Lemony nose with guave and passionfruit, mango, limepeel. Bitterish - fruity with a nice, intriguing mineral flavour. Chalk, getting more bitter warming up. Medium bodied at best, fruitslick, better carbonated than it looks. Nice! Ideal beer for the summer, IMHO.

Keg at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a big, fluffy, pure white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of bitter lemon peel, light pine needles, crispy pale malts, some citrus pith. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely bitter finish, more citrus rind, clean pale malts. Drinkable stuff.
