Vznikla na základě prostudování velmi starých receptur našich předků. V těchto listinách se uvádí, že jde dokonce o kombinaci základních surovin spolu s 21 druhy koření a bylin, které byly v dávné minulosti používány na výrobu medovin pro královské hostiny. Velice jsme ocenili vynalézavost našich předků a původní recepturu jsme uvedli v život. Dodrželi jsme i velmi důležitou podmínku pro vznik jemné a vyrovnané chuti, a tím je dlouhodobé zrání v dubových sudech.
Výsledná plná chuť vyzrálé medoviny již nadchla nejednoho znalce dobrého pití, ve specializované prodejně medovin v Praze je dokonce nejprodávanější ze všech českých a slovenských medovin.

Bottle pour at Medivarna. Pours clear pale gold. Light honey on the nose, along with a very distinct herbal character. Flavour has light honey, plenty of herbs and spices. Components are balanced very well, this is complex and enjoyable to drink.

From bottle shared with ShivanDragon, thanks! Strong honey aroma with toffee, notes of custard, more syrupy honey. Very sweet with loads of honey, candied fruit. More big sweetness in the finish.

Finally rated the mead I randomly had around for at least a year now, likely more, and actually sent to others before trying. Lovely, complex aroma, creamy honeyish notes, cookies and wax, some alcohol, light spices. Much more spicy taste, soft maltiness, sweet but ending almost juicy, lightly tart, some gingerbread spice stuff there. Warming and a joy to sip, oh wow, what a surprise! Also, not counting my ticks (and Ogi's backlog), officially, for the first time ever, this ties me with ogivlado for most RB ratings from at 13662, for the first time ever. :D

Poured from small random glass jar (thanks Marko). Clear gold with no head. Lots of herbalness and wood on the nose, oregano, earthy honey. Really nice and complex flavours.

Italian spice mix variant. Amber colour. Huge woody aroma, lots of herbs. Sweet up front, with a lightly floral honey character. Lots of herbs. I like that character but damn it's intense.

Pours fairly pale, darkened gold to light copper. Scent is very full, extremely funky honey, woody notes, chestnut, faded chocolate, caramel, sweet (and low PH ) impressions. Taste is mellow (mouthfeel) but very intense, very funky honey. Very expressive indeed. lovely balance, not overly sweet but definately in the sweet spectrum. Remains 'fresh' in a way, almost a minthy touch. Woody notes, again chestnut, and some lingering caramel. Not bad. not bad at all !

ABV: 13.0%. Clear light to medium orange yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, wood, vanilla, alcohol, almonds, barrel - vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, oney, vanilla, wood - oak, barrel - vanilla. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20190914]
