Tap @MBCC 2024, Red Session. Black, small beige head. Roast, licorice and coffee aroma. Bittersweet flavour, quite bitter actually. Licorice, roasted malt.

Draught, taster. @Mikkeller Beer Celebration 2024, Copenhagen (Denmark). 11/05/2024 [#7.388 Global - #921 England - #5 Emperor's Brewery] Pours black with a beige head. Mostly lacing. Aroma: espresso coffee, salted caramel, dark chocolates and almond. Taste: salted caramel, maple syrup, heavy dark chocolate and espresso. Bittersweet palate. Ashy aftertaste. Next one, please!

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly darkish tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, still manages to be light, decent fine carbonation. Ice Cream Van chocolate syrup in the dark malts, the sweetness offset by a decent earthy coffee. Some alcohol spice and an odd but not displeasing candy fruit sweetness. Smooth viscous finish. Tidy and drinkable if not wow.

Can shared by Jeff, thanks! Pours black with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy dark grains and roasted malts with a bit of maple coming through. Flavor has strong dark grains and maple with a bit of a smokiness supporting.
