It's a special beer brewed in collaboration with Brähery (homebrew) to honour the late great Dr. Professor Mayor Devin T. Stewart. Brewed "for the band" and for "serious knowers" with andaliman peppercorns, lotus hops, Devin's spirit and Fantome's magic. Take a sip, sing like a feline philosopher, and salute Devin

Sampled at Max's Belgian Fest 2024, pours a clear gold with some creamy, white head. Herbal nose, lemon balm, some candy. Flavor is very herbal. Hard to get past. Lightly dank but just mixed herbs. Big tea. Chalky finish.

Bottle (Milkhead Beers). Just unclear amber with a luxuriant white head. Aroma of mildly funky dough, floaty floral and citrus notes, spices. So it tastes - dryish with snappy bitterness and some spiciness that could be phenol and could be actual spices at the end. Quaffable with some intrigue. Fairly clean and nicely punchy at the end. Wouldn't guess 8%.

750mL undated, drunk 6/8/23. Minimal haze, brass-copper-rust. Small, off-white head, moderate retention. Smells a bit more BSA than Saison. Peppery phenols. Biscuity malts. Subdued fruitiness. Clean, interesting not mega aromatic though it portends good things to come. Round malts, fruity yeast and hops with bitter pepper and herbs. Vanilla and honey like maltiness with marmalade on the end. Lingering floral and herbal hops. Very young but very promising.

Bottle from Etre Gourmet. Color: Lightly hazy orange amber, white head. Aroma: Floral, herbal/spicy. Taste: Malty, floral, herbal and light spicy notes, yeasty notes. Moderate sweet and starting with light to moderate bitterness. Bitterness getting stronger towards the finish. Dry and quite bitter, spicy finish. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Another typical Fantôme beer. Ok.
