24th October 2022, mini-gathering in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury; just the three of us. Cheers Mark for the 375ml bottle (number 105), bottled on 17th March 2021. Cloudy golden body, wispy white head, crisp and refreshing with semi-tart citrusy bite, slight woody twist as well.

Bottle split at the first Canary Wharf / Westferry Circus tasting in 2.25 years ... who knew back then ... thanks to Fergus, 09/06/22. Moderate haze on a golden orange pour with an off white cap that clears to a swirl. Nose is grass, lime leaf, lemon drizzle, light funk. Taste comprises mellow citric zest, damp straw, yeas esters, damp wood, light barnyard notes, herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a subtle fruit tang. Ok saison if a little stuck in 3rd gear.

Bottle shared at Welcome back to DS Tasting. From CW online. A mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is tangy lemon verbena, rustic funk, lactose, straw, grass, lime. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, woody citrus, lactose funk, horsey, hairspray, harsh back of the throat bitterness. Palate is tart, highish carbonation. Decent. bit harsh over all.

Bottle, picked up at the brewery. Gusher. Not surprising given the sediment in the bottom of the bottle. Pours golden with a moderate haze. Fine white head. Nose has biscuity grain. Fruited tea loaf. Fruity yeast. Taste is fruity sweet, with an estery bitterness. A little tannic. Medium body with high carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Premier Hop. Baby gusher. Pours lightly hazed honey-gold with a fading, creamy white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with grass and floral bitterness, moderate yeast expression, nips of pine needles, pale grains, straw. Light bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Bittersweet finish, more floral notes, grass, citrus peel. Not bad overall.
