A clean, crisp lager in the classic German style. Bright gold in colour, its full body is a perfect balance of delicate hops and malty sweetness, with a satisfyingly dry finish. To be enjoyed anytime, anywhere.

Bottle from Morrisons. Clear gold, small white head, modest retention. Aroma of creamy grains, sweetness, lemony hop. Taste is quite malty, sweet and biscuit noted with a grassy, zesty and pine moderate bitter finish. Medium bodied, quite full for a lager. Mismatch between aroma and taste. Very hood lager though.

Bottle from Marks & Spencer, Halifax. Very mildly hazy golden with a head. Slightly floral in design, which doesn't make for the most appealing of tastes. There's a hint of sweetness here too.

500ml bottle: BB 24th June 2022. Drank on my patio after some gardening on 24th March 2022. Mini mist in the light golden body, snow white affair on top. Fairly dry feel to this, but a decent enough Lager I suppose.

Rocky white head on a slowly carbonating pale amber coloured body. Sweet, malt, berry & bread aroma. Medium bodied, airy over the tongue with a a lighter cloying back. Malt, sweet berry, cereal & citrus tastes with a nicely hopped tangy finish. Good one.

Bottle at home picked up from Morrisons. A clear golden coloured pour ith a lasting loose white froth. Aroma is cereal grains, earthy, light smoke. Flavour is composed of earthy cereal, light tart, apple, spicy. Palate, is crisp, light tart, fine carbonation. Fine.

Bottle from Mozzas Inverurie. It pours clear golden with a fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, bready malt, cornbread, bread & butter pudding, cereal, rivita and slight nuttiness. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter - sweet, grassy, nips of pine, floral accents, straw, minty, biscuit, peppery spice and a touch of nuttiness with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. An interesting lagerbier. Decent.

Bottle. Morrison’s. Clear gold. Decent white head. Nose is mostly clean malt although there’s a bit of a buttery note in there. Taste has a butyric edge. Medium body with fairly high carbonation. Bitter finish doesn’t particularly sit well. Hard going.
