Cask @ Regal Moon, Rochdale. Clear copper-amber with a creamy head. Malty effort with some subduing hoppy notes, and a smooth tasting texture.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol October 2023. Chestnut brown in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Bready malts, ripe berry fruits, some brown sugar before a gently bitter finish. Good.

Cask at Rodboro Buildings Spoons, Guildford. Aroma is sweet- dark fruit and syrup. Opaque chestnut brown. Thin off-white head is patchy in places. The falava matches thebar9ma. Sweet. Dark fruit seasonal fruit. Figs. Dark doughy mats. Overly sugary, syrupy. BItter woody core. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Sticky residue. Soft carbonation. Long finish. Very sweet but nice enough.

Cask at the Falcon, Wycombe. Chestnut-red colour with a thick beige head. Very fruity up front - blackcurrant and stewed plums. Toffee takes over in a sweet, slightly slimy finish with a hint of cough mixture. Started well, ended badly, not a fan of this.

Cask handpull at The County Hotel JDW Ashford. Clear russet colour lasting beige head. Sweetish malt in the mouth. Some dry bitterness on the finish. Rich malty beer. A bit like fruit cake. Really good condition. I liked it. Good full on premium bitter. Some peppery hop. Good

Cask at Picture House, Stafford. Pours dark copper with a small foamy off-white head. Aroma has malts and some hints of autumn fruits. In the mouth it is mainly dried fruits and malts with some underlying caramel plus traces of spice, treacle and fruitcake. Finish is dry and quite spicy. This is rather decent.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] A copper coloured pour with a tight cream head; malty aroma; creamy malt taste with some purple fruit and brown sugar; then a dry finish with lingering treacle.

Two hand-pulled pints in my local Wetherspoons on 13th October 2023. Nice ruby body, off-white crown. Malty from start to finish with a decent English hop bitterness, no citrus fruits were harmed in the brewing process (Fuggles and Goldings being the hops).

Dark amber with a hint of ruby in it, a frothy off-white head and a soft fruit malt aroma. Nice and creamy with dark fruit and caramel up front and soft biscuit malt underneath, just a hint of hop bitterness in the finish
