330 ml bottle. Pours black with short tan head. Aromas of whisky, oak, chocolate syrup, vanilla and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same with additional dark caramel and a little spice. Excellent.

Bottle from Delhaize Dok Noord. Cloudy black, small, foamy, dark beige head. Strong aroma of fondant, espresso, dried fig, prune, walnut, wood, sweet whisky, black olive. Taste has sweet prune, fig & raisin in a dark-chocolatey, walnutty, bit roasted malt body surrounded by bitter espresso and some earth-umami notes. Peppery & earthy hops in the finish, quite a long-lasting roasted espresso & fondant impression, bit of tobacco even, as well as warming sweet whisky alcohol. Full body, viscous texture, soft carbonation. Flavourful, and the whisky is added value here.

Pours black, no head. Scent is full-on whisky. Taste is sharp, bit boozy, very grainy. Rather hot, sharp whisky. Kinda OP'ing the basebeer.
