33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours slightly hazy amber with a white head. Sour and smoky with wild berries and peat. Strange and well, the name is quite fitting. Not quite a favourite, but interesting enough.

Bottle @ tasting, thanks to Mansquito (9/1/19). Pours murky orange with very small frothy white head, strong peaty aroma, low carbonation, sweetish starting sour taste with berries, and strong peaty flavor, thin body, log peaty finish. Very strange, but somehow likeable.

17 August 2019. At Gents Bierfestival X. Cheers to Anke, Kevin & the crew! Clear orange, quickly thinning, off-white head. Aroma of pure peat, sweet tobacco, wood, smoked ham, mellow orange & mango. Taste is light to medium fruity sweet, hinting at orange & mango, quickly covered by a very smoky-umami character, peated, olive, ham, some sourish lemon, tangerine & gooseberry underneath, a tad bitter too. Dryish, earthy hoppy finish, mellow stonefruit dominated by smoke, sweet tobacco & peated whisky-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Disappointing sourness, messed up a lot of different ideas.

From Sip Shop in Tallinn: pours not quite clear orange with a white head. Aroma is loads of peat, some mellow funk. Taste is fairly sour, but also very smokey. Some berry taste in there that people describe as grape. Intense. Very large.

18/VIII/19 - 33cl bottle @ Gents Bierfestival, BB: n/a - (2019-1269)
Clear orange beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: peat smoked malts, not much else, very phenolic. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: super smoky, very very peated, sourish impressions. Aftertaste: very peated, gentle bitterness, more smoke and peat. Pretty one dimensional.

Fine whitish head over unclear copper-coloured beer, colour as weak tea. Rauchmalz, very phenolic, potato from the ashes (the ashes especially). Sourish and very smoked, phenolic. Lactic acid mainly, smoked malts obvious. Smoked herring retronasal. Well-bodied. Alcohol (if it is REALLY 11%) remarkably well hidden. A tad too phenolic, and it does not work well with the intended acidity.
