Keg at BD Clerkenwell, 01/07/22. Golden blonde with a just off white cap. Nose is melon, tangerine, grass, soft malts, mellow hops. Taste comprises orange peel, melon, grass, light bread dough, hint of grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with mellow hop bitterness. Passable IPA ... firmly stuck in 3rd gear.

Delivered as part of an online order from Sophie's Beer Store and drunk at home. Light yellow and hazy as you can get with a big fluffy white head. Pineapple and lemon cream in the aroma, simple but enticing. Taste is sweet with edges of fruity hop bitterness, there's a threat of hop burn that never quite materialises and settles into a short to medium finish. More pineapple and a bit of melon in the aftertaste. Medium to full body with carbonation on the heavy side. Delicious NEIPA, especially for 5.5%.

Can, 0.44l. Hazy orange pour, one finger frothy white head. Medium retention, lasting head, good lacing on the glass as it goes down. Sweet, fruity nose, tropical and floral notes, hints of pineapple and vanilla. Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, moderately fizzy, nicely refreshing. Balanced bittersweet taste and aroma. Fruity and floral notes. Pineapple, mango, citruses. Hints of vanilla, malty sweet background. Subtle herbal peppery notes in the aftertaste. Medium lasting finish, dry and juicy. Good one.
