clear brown, smooth brown head. nutty, sweet malty, quite fruity aroma. Flavor is very nice, barley wine malty, old-school style so no crazy amounts of us hops in here, much more like a good english barley wine, syruppy fruity note that doesn't get in the way, but perhaps makes it a bit more drinkable for many than a straight barley wine. the balancing bitterness is a bit sharp and kicks in only in the late aftertaste. slightly watery overall. Decent barley wine, getting quite close to craft beer quality, probably good value as it is often found in supermarkets that are not way into the more nerdy enthusiast craft beer. Drinkability is high. Would work very fine with snacks like cheese etc.

Bottle. Clear deep golden body with a small tan head that fades quickly. Aroma has malt, caramel and slightly oxidized. Taste is sweet malty with caramel, brown sugar, alcohol and oxidation. Fine body and nice aftertaste. Might be one of the best beers I have tasted from this brewery as most of the beers seems to be average and below.
