Fra flaske på Cardinal M2 sesongåpning: tynn og uferdig med en brå slutt. Ble mye bedre når vi helte bunnfallet opp i glasset - i gjæren ligger ofte godsakene! Litt gress og krydder. Tørr. Håper Namdalsbryggeriet lager en ny rundt 6%.

Clear pale golden. Receding, white head. Green bananas and coriander in aroma and taste. Green citrus in aftertaste. Dry mouthfeel. Not too bad, but a bit bland.

Bottle, at Cardinal. A two finger white head sits on top of a hazy, golden body. Some lacings occur. Some yeast in the aroma, although not in the typical saison way. Citrus peel, some spiced notes, pale malts and a generic fruityness in the aroma. There’s a decent bitterness in the flavor, and it’s a tad sweet. Fruityness, citrus peel and a little peppery touch, as well as some biscuity malts. Lasting finish. A tad sweet and yeasty this one, else it’s fine. 140726

500 ml bottle, as Namdalsøl //våronn, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Hazy golden colour, huge white head. Aroma of hay, dust and saison yeast, a hint of citrus. Refreshing flavour, quite dry, yeasty notes, hints of citrus again, moderate hops. Light bodied. Not bad, but could be better.
