Vanilla, chocolate malt, and grass aroma. Black with large light brown head. Moderately sweet vanilla, chocolate malt, and moderately bitter ash and dry grass flavor. Good body.

Can from Spar Valby drunk at home 20/06/2024 Sweet and roasted dark malty with silky chocolate and sweet vanilla creamy action, some brown sugar and coffee roast, medium plus body, sweet malty lingering close. Goes well with the cake.

Aromas are a nice blend of roast, dark malt, cocoa, vanilla, leather and a hint of molasses. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose with vanilla standing out but balanced bitter, sweet and carbonation Roast comes through a little more also. Nice beer.

Not quite pitch black colour, large head of tan foam, very good retention, lacing is good. Beautiful looking beer.
The nose has a lot of vanilla, roasted malt, chocolate.
The taste is vanilla, dark chocolate, roasted malt, lightly sweet, moderately bitter.
Good fullish mouthfeel. I bought a 12pack and it will not be a chore to drink.

12 oz can. A black pour with a tan head. Roasty cocoa, vanilla, coffee aroma. Flavors of cocoa and vanilla, roasty coffee, molasses. Pretty nice, though it would be nice if it came in something smaller than a 12 pack.

Can thanks to Jerry aka Jamie: Poured a black with a khaki tan head. Aroma is vanilla, chocolate, rich roasted malts. Taste is rich roasted malts, vanilla, bitter chocolate, smooth finish.

Getting a really strong Black & Mild vibes from this pint, and I like it. Vanilla sweetness never grows cloy or overpowering, but stays prominent. Mild roast on the back end gives way to a firm bitter finish. Not the masterpiece OG Founders Porter is, but a damn fine pint.
