Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from BS online. Pours clear honey-gold with a fluffy, white head that settles into a cream. Light-medium sweet flavour with nice dry funk, subtle melon, citrus, pale wood, grass, sourdough bread. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Fairly clean to finish, lightly drying, a little boozy warmth, musty funk, mellow grassy hops, melon, tangerine. Great depth. Mighty drinkable.

Cask at Sutton Arms, Clerkenwell, London. An amber coloured pour with a healthy off white head on top. Rich, bretty, fruity, marmalade, caramel taste and aroma, almost Belgian in taste. A really tasty complex ale from Burning Sky.
Herbal, bit of Brett, very unique taste. Very nice I think. Weird in a great way.

Bottle. Burning Sky online. Hazed copper colour. Lovely firm just of white foam. Bretty vinous and fruity. Bit of cake mix. Nice Orval like vibe. A tad oily on the palate with soft carbonation maybe detracts but overall there’s more evidence that BS are well back on form.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 1st January 2023. Coppery amber with shallow foam and spot lacing. Pungent aroma with cherry fruits and toasty malts. Rich fruits, hazelnut and almond nuttiness in-mouth, and a long finish of rum-and-raisin with nutty malts. Velvet smooth mouthfeel and a full body.
