Bottle @ Voldby. Pours clear pale yellow with a small fizzy white head. Aromas of sweet pears, tart tropical fruity notes, bretty, seaweed kinda salty, lactic tart. Taste is not as tart, sweet pears, some salty notes, malty, sweet esters. No carbonation. Aroma is darn nice, but the taste and flat body makes it somewhat uninteresting overall.

Bottle. Thanks Massimo. Aroma is great. Cheesy, milky, cactus. Taste is nice, saison yeastiness, light fruit, little sour, salty, berries. Definite cheesiness again. Very nice. Dry.

No dating on the bottle.

Hazy straw yellow colour, small quickly dissipating head of foam, very little lacing.

Lactic smell with a cucumber aroma.

Lactic sourness, cucumber, salty, coriander flavours. Strange tasting beer.

Light body with adequate carbonation.

1 and done.

75cl bottle @ Chez Sophie tasting. Pours pale greenish yellow, thin bubbles that recede. Aroma is sweet pear, brett. Taste is wonderfully complex, with layered salty sweet pear and subtle sparkling bretty sour funk flavours. Really can’t compare this to many beers at all. Exceptional.

28th July 2016: shared 0.75 litre bottle in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pale blonde colour with a misty look, no head. Tasted and had the aroma of a dry ’scrumpy cider’ at first: then you start to notice the salt and an extra sourness. Not too sure I know what ’sweet prickly pears’ actually taste like but if it’s like cactus then I found the flavour! Not really my cup of tea.
