330ml can. Hazy golden with an off-white head. Aroma of coffee, cocoa, alcohol, roast malts. Taste of coffee, cacao nibs, roast malts, alcohol, harsh bitter boozy finish. Medium body, fine carbonation. Seems to have nice coffee/chocolate flavours but they get lost under the harsh alcohol. Disappointing.

Keg at The Bottle Shop, 17/06/17. Golden copper with a decent off white head. Nose is caramel biscuit, light coffee grinds, white peppery spice, faint brown bread strokes. Taste comprises salted caramel, light fruit loaf, spice, mellow coffee, white chocolate, biscuit. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, light rising boost in the close. Fun stuff and hides the ABV well.

Keg at the Bottle Shop - Bermondsey. Pours clear, bright glowing gold with a bubbly, white head. The nose holds pale bread, coffee, caramel. Medium to heavy sweet flavour with nice milky coffee character, more pale bread, booze, toffee, ripe citrus, oily pine. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, a little sticky, with nips of honey, ripe orange, resinous pine, more creamy coffee. Fun stuff.
