A clear golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of dry grainy pale malt, straw, some cereals. Taste of mild sweet grainy malt, cereals and bread. Mild bitterness.

"Augustiner Alkoholfrei hell", Flasche von Getränke City XXL, Dachau, 31.5.2025. - Anscheinend ein sehr begehrtes Bier: die Abgabemenge war auf 1 Kasten pro Käufer beschränkt (mir reichte eine Flasche). - Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase dünnes helles Malz, blaß zitronige Hopfung und nur ganz wenig von den süßlich-bierwürzeähnlichen (Fehl)aromen, die für Alkoholfreie typisch sind. - Antrunk dünn aber weich hellmalzig, rund zitronig aber nur sehr wenig hopfenherb, merklich süß. Nicht zu stark rezent. Im Abgang sehr milde zitronige Herbe. - Solides Alkoholfreies.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Leicht getreidiger, leicht hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich leicht getreidig, leicht hopfig, Anklänge an Citrus. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, leichter Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma promises mixed grains and pepper, and is fresh enough that the faint metallic undertone can be overlooked. Taste is mild bitter throughout and there’s even a touch of crispness in the finish. Avoids the dank, soggy sweetness of most beers in the style. Rivals the Licher and the Andechser for my favorite so far. Good.

I picked up a crate of this recently and it is a very solid beer to drink during the week. Crate picked up from Mark Grafen Getranke in Furth im Wald consumed at home regularly. Pours from bottle gold colour, good clarity, mid sized white head. Nice mouthfeel, ok so the taste is a touch thin, there is some dryness, a little citrus, a little cereal, but interestingly the usual alcohol free beer taints are thankfully in short supply here, ok there is a little something in the background and it's clearly not as good as their regular version but it tastes pretty good.

0.5l bottle, huge thanks F&L! Well, this came with huge recommendations, won't lie - with Jonas and Stefan getting at least Fin hooked onto it, so let's see! Clear golden body, a shade or two lighter than expected. Lightly off white head, pretty big, though the retention was a bit low (no insta-disappearance either). Lean, dry taste, bit grainy, some tartness, citric. Vague honey somewhere in the background. No cardboard and cornflakes, yaaaay! Very much a decent take at the "style", as kinda expected from Augustiner!

Drunk from a glass at Klenze 17. Good head, lightly malty nose. The flavor is very reminiscent of an actual, alcoholic Helles. I mean, it's astounding how much better this is than the average alcohol free: nice hop notes, reasonable body that doesn't just taste of wort, not too sweet. Hint of acidity to balance it out. Great job Augustiner!

Im Augustinerbräu in München. Flasche, klare helle, goldene Farbe, viel Schaum, kleinporig Aroma: süßlich, Malz. Geschmack wie ein süßes helles mit Alkohol, okay.
