Can at home and don't remember where I bought it. I was planning a dry night, but having finally got things under control at work after 2 weeks away I decided a celebration was in order. Good pour and looks great in the glass. Good aroma and really good hops flavour. Well balanced between the sweet and bitter, but more bitter and all the better for it. Had it with a bit of cheese and that only helped matters. Loads going on for what is actually a sensible abv.

1st May 2024
Can. Hazy orange gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth light pale malts, an airy creamy sweetness. Hops bring soft pine and soft but quite savoury skunk. Soft lime and lime peel into a modest winey grape. Light crisp pine. Pinch of hop spice before a light and semi dry finish. Tidy IPA, reasonable, by 2024 standards, Nelson presentation. Overall, solid.

440ml can. Hazy, orange golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Tropical fruity and slightly spicy-grassy and minimally zesty, citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, oaty and wheaty malty background, notes of mango, some guava, papaya, grapefruit peel, a touch of mandarine, orange. Taste is slightly zesty, citrusy fruity and minimally spicy-grassy hoppy, oaty and minimally raw wheaty malty basis with some residual sweetness, hints of kiwi fruit, gooseberry, grapefruit, blood orange, grapefruit peel, some mango. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Harmonious composition of matching fruit flavours with nice zesty and grassy-spicy aspects, pleasant sweetness - enjoyable.

Smooth, juicy and intensely herbal hoppy with some tropical notes, citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, grapes, hints of dry earthy bitterness and grass. Quite hoppy but perhaps a bit unbalanced

Can. Hazy yellow. Massive orange and dank weedy hops, like a very fruity marihuana. Then there's oats, resin, mango and grapefruit zest. Medium sweet and bitter. Creamy oaty medium body. Very good.

440ml can. Murky yellow, white head. Aroma of white wine, grape, tropical and earthy. Taste is quite vinous, Nelson dominates, white wine, grape, gooseberry, tropical fruits, Riwaka unfortunately rears its ugly savoury/earthy/bacon head, though it's just the earthiness that comes through so it's not insufferable at all, slightly sweet with a citric bitterness. Medium bodied. Solid IPA just a shame they paired Nelson with Riwaka. Literally any other hop would've been better!

Can. Beer Central. Souped up gold. CW swede. All in order here. Nose has green hop leaf. Touch of allium. Zested sweet lemon. Orange peel. Cereal malts as a backdrop. Taste is sweet and oaty. Gets pithy and citrusy bitter. Bit of a creamy mouthfeel. Big pithy bitterness to finish.
