A long road, baking sand, the long shadows of dusk amid towering sandstone colossi, the Outlander nears his destination and the promise of urgent refreshment. Outlander begins with a burst of citrus on the nose, a warm rye malt bill follows, citrus blasts around the palate and the finish is long waves of hoppy citrus bitterness. This brew is refreshment defined.

Can 440ml (KCM Kamppi, BB "April 2018")
Orange-amber colour, small white head. Harsh "dry yeasty" nose with some underlying fruits. Light to medium-bodied. Light fruityness, mostly somewhat harsh (from rye?) flavour. Similar to Finnish Saimaan pale ales. Lacks drinkablity and "freshness". Can is probably not fresh.
