Bottle. Red-amber with a thick, low head. Nose is grapes and raisins, chocolate, cognac, caramelo. Grape and wine flavors, caramel and toffee, very bitter from oak, tannins, hops. Raisin and oak finish. Quite wonderful.

Bottle via Marko, thanks! Medium brown, nice small lacy head. Yummy dessert nose, yeasty sweet bread and caramel dessert cake. Huge flavor, sweet at the start but amazingly balanced at the finish due to big bitterness.

Sample from bottle, DØE beer festival. Deep amber colour with a thin, lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, nuts, cognac barrel, and dark dried fruits. The taste is sweet. Full body. Lingering sweet finish with a touch of booze. Nice.

Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy amber/brown pour, one finger frothy beige head, long lasting. Sticky lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, sweet and malty, toasted caramel, wood notes, liquor. Nicely balanced. Full body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, thick, chewy, sticky. Nicely balanced bittersweet taste. Aroma of toasted caramel, dried fruits, brown sugar. Wood notes, liquory, herbal candy notes. Lingering alcohol in the background, nicely warming. Long lasting finish, sweet, dry, lingering alcohol. Tasty.
