Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of pine, pineapple, melon, grass, grapefruit and orange zest. Did not really follow through in the taste. Quite carbonated and weak. Shame.

Can from Scotmid. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of tonic water, underripe peach and melon rind. Flavour of lemon jelly and lemongrass. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. Light and fruity, quite thin though.

5th November 2023
Can. Lightly hazy yellow gold beer, good bubbly white head. Palate is airy and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin pale malts but delivering a good creamy sweetness. The hops bring soft pine and a good mix of light tropical fruits and light citrus, some ripeish soft mandarin and tangerine in there, mild ripe pineapple. El Dorado invisible to me but it hardly matters, a light and pleasant enough brew that is just a tad thin.

Can on 22nd October 2023 from Co-Op Crouch End. Pours a thickly hazy yellow with shallow off-white foam and spot lacing. Tropical fruits and yeastiness in aroma. Zesty peel and grapefruit juice in-mouth, and a finish of bitter citrus peel. Light body and a zingy mouthfeel.

Can from the other Co-op in New Haw. Aroma combines sweet stone fruit and sweet oats. Hazy pale yellow. Thick foamy white head. Light-medium bitter. Sour edge. Stone fruit. Watery citrus. Gains bitterness and wood. Spice. All a bit low key. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Not the most exciting Hazy Pale.

Can from Coop Oldmeldrum. It pours hazy bright yellow - gold with a small frothy white cap. The aroma is fresh fruity action, tropical, yellow plum, melon, papaya, pomelo, lemon curd and some greenness. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, green, weedy, pine dust, floury white bread, pithy, zesty citrus, lemon, pomelo, waxy rind, tropical vibes, fruit salad and a snap of peppery spice with a dry, green finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Quite nice overall. Nice green taste.
