Cask ale, 4.2 % abv, half-pint shared with Finn at Barrel Vault (JDW). Covering white head, misty golden body, lacing rings down the glass. Moderate dusty hops and pale malts on the nose. Mixed taste of leafy hops and cereal malts. Moments of leafy hops bitterness to the ending. Pretty fair. (St. Pancras, London 13.02.2023).

Fra håndpumpe på The Mossy Well, Muswell Hill (London): klar kobber med ok skum. Beskjeden aroma men meget god smak med deilig, lett citruspreget bitterhet i en god maltkropp. Quaffable indeed.

Cask gravity at the London drinker fest 2016. Clear golden orange coloured pour with a big loose white head. Aroma is tangy citrus, grass, hint of vinegar. Grainy. Hint of honey on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of semi sweet grains, biscuit, grassy , tangy lemon citrus. Some grain tannin. Palate is semi sweet grainy, moderate cask condition , slightly creamy. OK.

Cask at London Drinker 2016. Pours perfectly clear gold with a big, frothy white topping. The nose holds pale bread, biscuits, hay, grains, old lemon peel. Light sweet flavour with some rindy citrus, herbal bitterness, pale bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Decent balance on the finish, with notes of melon, lemon, tangerine, pale grains. Not bad.
