Bottle shared with Gabor Gábor and Undos. Pours deep brown with a beige head. Nose is intense cocoa, light anise, nougat and a touch of vanilla. Taste is huge chocolate, slightly dry cocoa, a sweeter vanilla touch and a hint of anise that's not overpowering fortunately - I'm not very fond of it. Closes with a nutty, chocolatey finish, has a silky body that feels bigger than the ABV would sugges and light carbonation. Great porter with the additions being used nicely.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is roasted malt with lots of vanilla beans, cocoa, caramel, notes of fudge, candy and sugar. Not picking up the star anise. Flavour is above medium sweet with a moderate roasty bitterness. Body is medium. Good Porter, roasty with plenty of cocoa and vanilla bean.

Bottle: Poured a black color porter with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of roasted malt notes with some dominant black chocolate notes with very faint notes of vanilla. Taste is also a mix of roasted malt with some black chocolate notes with some bitter notes offset by vanilla with really faint notes of star anises. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable porter but star anises notes were not as perceptible as expected.

Bottle via Beermalade tasting. I like this better than the basic version, even if I have problems picking up any of the special ingredients - spiced subtly, but it works rather well here. The unpleasant hops bitterness and character is mellowed here, now I am picking up light vanilla. Medium sweetness, med-full body, med-high silky carbonation. Toffeeish milky coffeeish maltiness. Quite good.
