330 ml can, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 16%. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee, molasses, fusel, oak, vanilla and caramel. Warming mouthfeel. Medium sweet flavour of roast malts, coffee, vanilla, oak and chocolate.

330ml can kindly shared by Egil at Skur 4. Near-black body, fair fawn-coloured head leaving clingy curtains down the glass. Attractive vanilla oak on the nose with a scent of chocolate malts. Powerful taste with moments of caramel-chocolate, vanilla oak, and a solid backdrop of coffee, joined by a touch of dark fruits as well. Lingering all the way back to the hotel, roasted, warming bourbon notes down the swallow. Full bodied. Lovely stuff. (Drammen, 27.10.2023).

Aroma is dark roasted malts with coffee, tobacco, liquorice and muscovado, as well as herbal notes and wooden barrels. Medium to full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is dark roasted malts with coffee, tobacco and liquorice, as well as herbal notes and bourbon barrels.

Can @ Håndverkeren. Black body under a moderate sized, fading beige head. Aroma is nice roasted, dark malt, quite much coffee, caramel, mild Bourbon and green hop pellets. Taste has a nice malt base, smooth roasted, some chocolate, caramel, dry fruit, bitter citric zest, grass, mild wood and Bourbon with dominating coffee flavor. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. I like the imp. Stout base in this beer, this is smooth and tasty for the high ABV, actually not boozy but alcoholic. But I don’t appreciate the coffee flavor, it has too much ‘green bitter’ flavor for my coffee taste. Still a nice beer but I don’t see the reason for the high price either.

Black color with a beige head. Aroma is bourbon, coffee. Flavor is bourbon, coffee, cocos, roasted malt, dried fruit, wood, vanilla, chocolate. . Powerful very nice beer.

0,33 boks bestilt på postordre, etter det jeg kan huske (glemslen blir bare bedre og bedre....): brunsvart med ok skum. Kaffeduften brer seg ut over kjøkkenbenken i det jeg spretter boksen. Mørke dessertchokolader, marinerte rosiner, engelsk lakris, nybrent luksuskaffe, kokos, vinøse inntrykk og overveldende munnfølelse. Godt kalibert bitterhet, og vitamininnholdet sørger for resten. Løp og kjøp, denne er superb!
0,33 litre Can, from Vinmonopolet Lillehammer. Almost Black with brown head. Roasted malts, coffee, Chocolate, oak, liqorice, some bourbon, hides The alcohol well. Nice Stuff!
