BIAB at Peterborough Beer and Cider Festival 2024. Box states 8.1% ABV, probably not the 2021 vintage. Pours opaque orange gold with no head. Aroma: apple, apple flesh, woody, straw, floral, earthy. Taste: bittersweet apple with tangy sharpness, woody, moderate tannins. Medium body and flat. Unexpectedly my 20th Rutland rate. Got there eventually!

7/8/2024. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear dark gold with a small bubbly head. Aroma is funky, earthy, toffee, sweet tropical fruits, leather, slightly mucky edge. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily, average to soft carbonation. Well done.

Panda thanks to Danlo: Poured a golden with white head. Aroma is musty apples, barnyard, funky, earth. Taste is funky, tannins, apples, earthy.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 29/06/24. Clear mid golden with a white cap that veers edgewards. Nose is modest funk, straw, tangy apples, hay bale, earthy orchard fruits. Taste comprises orchard wood, funk, tannins, apple core, herb, hedgerow. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid stuff ... well balanced, tasty, bitter and funky.

Panda at home thanks to Ed Danlo. A clear bright golden orange coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is delicate apple blossom, light funk, pear, floral notes, light white grape. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, funky dry apple, bark, light spicy, vanilla , oaky tannins, warming alcohol. Palate is crisp and dry, tannin, moderate carbonation. Nice.

Sample thanks to Danlo! Pours clear gold. Aroma of funky apple with orangey hints. Flavour profile produces a nice mellow character, with a natural feel, soft tannins, gentle carbonation and an appealing pure apple sweetness. Distant woody influence with soft honey notes coming into view.

750ml bottle from Cider Incider. Orange gold colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of juicy fruit, apple, woody, funk. Taste is fruity, apple, orange juice note, oaky, woody, vanilla, tangy, with some funk, alittle acidity and bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tart & tannic boozy finish. Very drinkable.
