A rich chestnut hue and a classic malt sweetness with fruity orange overtones; it’s giving dark sugar, treacle and marmalade on rye toast.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 9 May 2024) Reddish amber colour with foamy, tan head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of orange peel, crisp-bread, dried apricots and earthy hops. Malty, hoppy taste with orange peel, crisp-bread, dried apricots, resin, caramel and a generous resiny/earthy bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well made bitter. Nice one.
