Draught at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown with a big frothy, long-lasting, off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, coffee, liqouirce. The flavour is light sweet liquorice bitter with a smooth, roasty, smoky, charcoal, coffee, dark chocolate, liqouirce hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at Samo pivo [Serbian: Only Beer], Belgrade. I guess it's this version, it was definitely 6%. Served very chilled. Shared with lovely Anja. Black, small tan head. Roasty aroma, dark malts, light coffee. Beautiful taste develops with notes of dry fruits, roasty to burnt, light caramel and light coffee. Medium body, moderate to high carbonation, moderate lasting, roasty finish. Not as smooth maybe. Nice one, although not spectacular. I wish it was slightly warmer, maybe I'd rate the aromas better.

Draught @ Fox & Hounds, Sønderborg. Pours cloudy very dark brown with stable beige head. Clear aroma of malt and roast, with fruity and estery notes. Bitter, roasty flavour with touches of coffee and dark chocolate, and sweetish notes of malt. Hints of fruit and yeast. Lingering roasty aftertaste with estery hints. Rich body. A very good Porter, me lads!

Tap (Szynkarnia, Wroclaw). Leciutko czekoladowe, subtelnie palone, lekkie w odczuciu nawet w strone wodnistego, pijalne.

Cask at Great Lost Bear. Dark black like the name of the brew states. Thick lasting head retention. Aroma of charred chocolate malts, licorice, and a trace of coffee.
The body is medium and shows a creamy texture. The flavor is spot on the flavors and real tasty. Overall really easy to drink with the creaminess being a major turn on for me. I’m really going to have to try the bottled version and compare. This was a nice drink.
