Bottle. Dark brown. Salt, umami. Front heavy, sparkly, soapy, with soy sauce. Not bad, just the mouthfeel is a bit too soapy.

0.5l bottle, huge thanks Jonas for sharing with all of us! Pitch black body, thick greyish, brownish head gone a bit too soon. Huge chocolate notes in the aroma, remarkable even, but not overwhelming. Lean, dry taste, chocolate and roast really, but soft. Quite drinkable, quite flavorful. Good job!

500 ml bottle. Murky dark brown almost black with a big fluffy beige coloured head. Dry citrus, leather, rubber, earthy notes, arabica coffee, toffee, burnt malt, hints of marzipan. Roasty bitterness, malty sweetness, some dry citrus sourness. Light bodied, oily watery texture, lively carbonated, dry roasty citrusy earthy leathery bittersweet finish. A very good dry Irish Stout, quite authentic.

Bottle, Bierkiste. Darkest brown, frothy brown lacing cream. Spicy roasted, coffee, malt sirup, riral aroma. Medium body, creamy foamy, dry roast sugar on the palate, intense chocolate, coffee roast, a bit heavy-handed at that, salty, umami straw, dry bitter dark chocolate finish, smoke retronasal.

Bottle picked up from Bierothek Regensburg and consumed at home Tuesday 16th April 2024 listening to ByteFM and cooking homemade Veggie Burgers and Chips. Pours dark brown, nigh on black with a creamy textured white/off white head. Nice easy drinking stout, a roasted malt aroma with coffee and a little bitter cocoa, these come through in the flavour department, very easy drinking, dry finish, a little roasty bitterness throughout. Very good example of the style.
