Black with a foamy, beige head. Coffee aroma with a touch of chocolate. Taste is mildly coffee ground bitter with both tart and sweet underlying tones. Light bodied, but still some residual chewiness. Obviously not the depth of the original, but for the style this is about as good as it gets.

0.355 l can from 'Beer Republic', canned in December 2024. Black with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, quite roasty and a little fruity aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, ash, burnt bread crust and traces of citrus. Quite sweet, malty, rather roasty, slightly bitter taste of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted hazelnut, a touch of burnt bread crust and hints of licorice, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Delicious for an NA brew, well done.

Can from Beer Republic.
A: hazy black, stable, foamy, beige head.
A: cold coffee, coffee grounds, chocolate powder, tobacco.
T: restrainedly sweetish toast, chestnut, bitter coffee grounds.
F: soft earthy hops, coffee grounds & tobacco.
P: light to medium body, slick texture, soft
Okay in the NA style, but could have had a bit more intensity/roastiness.

Can at Speedway Tasting. Weird. Rather thin body, med-high carbonation, quickly disappearing head. Coffee is the dominant flavour and associated sourness is the dominant taste. Medium bitterness, med-light sweetness. Light dark chocolate. Moderate wortiness, not really hidden. This might be because I brew dark beers a lot at home and I know this wort taste well. Meh for me.

12oz can. Poured a pitch black color with a small tan head. This does *not* have the body of regular Speedway Stout. However, it's incredibly flavorful, big milk chocolate notes with a bit of dark chocolate. Big roast, coffee. Bitter finish. Still good as it warmed.

Can 355ml (Hoptimaal?)
Dark brown colour, not much head. Strong rye bready aroma, very Kvass-like. Medium-bodied. Rye bready, a bit ashy, roasted flavour with some non-alco wortyness. Quite interesting, certainly better than eg. Nogne O's Inferial Stout non alco.

Pours black, small head. Scent is coffee, roasted malts. Simple. Taste is roasted, bit bitter, sweet backbone. Crunchy malts, burnt . Bit too sweet and simple. Not as great as hoped, better than feared .
