Hop Harvest. The fresh, undried hop flowers are picked in the morning, and on the same day they are used in the Hop Harvest-brew, straight from the field. Because we use 'wet hops', the beer has a fresh, floral, and pleasantly bitter taste. By changing the recipe every year, the outcome is always a surprise. Drink this beer young if you can, that's when the wet hop shows of their floral character the most.

750ml bottle from House of Trembling Madness. It pours clear amber blonde with a handsome fluffy white head. The aroma is freshly baked goods, farmhouse style bread, biscuit, cereal, touch of nuttiness, candied lemon, lemon curd, pomelo, citron, toasty grains, grass and florals. The taste is super crisp, dry, snappy, pleasing grassy bitterness which lingers, woody, slightly herbal, waxy lemon peel, pithy, zesty, lemon curd, pomelo, fragrant, floral, nutty, cereal, hearty bread character and a touch of pepper with a drying, finish with lemon verbena. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. The full package. Hearty, yet moreish. Flavourful and has a good depth for the style.

75cl Fles van Etre Gourmet. Mistig diepgouden kleur, witte kraag. Bloemig, grassig, licht fruitig, moutig, bloem, licht herbaal, bitter. Lichte body. Is dit bier echt anders elk jaar? Hoe dan ook, weer erg smakelijk.

Bottle. Yearly must have. Color: Slightly hazy golden, large frothy white head. Aroma: Floral and grassy hop, malty. Taste: Malt, some hay, nice grassy and floral hopbitterness coming in after a second or two. Spicy and light yeasty hints. Bread notes. Nice very long lasting very dry and bitter finish. Bitter palate. Just over medium body, average carbonation. Starting moderate sweet and moderate bitter, going to over medium bitterness at the finish. Very nice, like every year before!
