Tap at Bierbarry. Very hazy dull yellow with white head. Cloves, soft lemon, wheat, winegums, light dough, thyme. Medium sweet and also about medium bitter. Medium bodied.

Tap@Peders, Copenhagen (01/12/2019) - hazed golden pour with a tiny white head. Sweet fruity and wheaty, some salty notes, wheaty fruity with a light to medium body, sweet fruity and fruity into the finish. But too overt sweet for me.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of wheat and cloves. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, lemons, and cloves, leading to a dry finish. Too sweet and not really a Hefe.

Bottle. Opens up with a loud 'pssht' and pours with a big amount of foam. The liquid itself looks medium hazy, pale blonde. Smell is heavy on esters, indeed isoamylacetate, but not as creamy or clove forward as I'd think of in a weisse. More like a tripel, but of course not as intense nor grainy. Taste is banana, with a harsh phenolic back, to a point it's just not that good anymore. Not very clove like, more like a peppery notes that turns very medicinal at this intensity. It overpowers the esters by far. Also a huge amount of Carbo ( even more than what is usual in the style.). Not a big fan.

Fles 33cl thuis. Doet me denken aan caramel zeezout vla. Licht romig, kruidig, malten (caramel), ziltig, tarwetonen, wat banaan, zacht. Niet helemaal in balans. Apart. (22-3-2019).

Hazy white, small head. Aroma is wheat, malt, tart, lemon, taste is the same, salty, light salinity, tart with a dusty malty taste. Ok

Small white head over veiled ochre-ish yellow-golden beer. Creamy nose with quite some glue. Bit of the expected banana and clove/guaiacol, but rather in a dull way. More of the same, if even duller. Some oxydized spices, bereft of their strong aromas; flavour of watery boiled green peas. Tad mineral (the Salicornia?). The vinyl-guaiacol flavour intensifies gradually. Watery MF, seems undercarbonated at first, but the MF contradicts this eventually. Dull, dull. If I were a really nasty person (which I'm not, of course), I'd say "no wonder it's a bargain"...? 5/4/5/3/10

26/IV/18 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 3/II/19 (2018-486) Thanks to Anniek for the bottle!
Mainly clear orange beer, small creamy irregular white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of orange peel, bit malty, pretty oxidized, honey, orange juice, little spicy, hay. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: lots and lots of orange peel, sweetish, bit sourish, some banana. Aftertaste: spicy touch, some coriander, little fruity, banana, soft acidity, more orange peel.
