Sometimes you need something bold, with a lot of impact. Like a wrecking ball. Or a coconut coffee stout. And bold we went. We received 200 kilos of perfectly toasted coconut flakes by Notenfabriek and soaked them for 45 days in our beer. This makes the beer almost salty, so intense is the coconut flavor and aroma. We combined the coconut with a blend of two different origin coffees: espresso beans from Costa Rica and Brasil. All Arabica of course, giving the coconut a beautiful stage to shine on. So there you have it, a powerful punch of flavor that demolishes expectations and leaves a lasting impact on your palate. Cheers to boldness and intensity in every sip!

Can. Pretty much an opaque dark brown, small tan head. Smooth palate, decent superfine carbonation. Soft rich chocolate malts, a good balance of dark chocolate and milk chocolate. Very nice chocolate cream and little chocolate fudge. The coconut is obvious but not overdone and integrates well. Coffee? Hardly know it's there until the soft finish when it comes through very softly. Nice brew. Think this would love some choice barrelling.

Ein tolles Dessert in a Can.

1/VIII/24 - 44cl can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ Ardennes Holiday, BB: 26/II/26, canned: 26/III/24, batch: 730 (2024-655)

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy irregular beige head, unstable, dissipates immediately. Aroma: good roast, alcohol, nutty, almonds, hazelnuts, a little oxidized, some chocolate notes with a touch of coffee. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lovely, lots of coconut, super creamy, chocolate, lots of alcohol, sugary. Aftertaste: malty, good roast, more alcohol, some coffee, chocolate, coconut, alcoholic finish, very nice one, I love it!
