750mL bottle, pours black with a small tan bead. Aroma has intense coffee, vanilla, and blackberries, with maybe a touch of bugs. Flavour is quite robust and cohesive, with tons of blackberries, moderate coffee, a touch of vanilla, and not subtle tartness. Very unusual but a wonderful mix of flavours. Cohesive and robust. This is great, whatever it is.

Shared 750 ml bottle, at Cardinal, Stavanger. Black (or nearly black) colour, beige head. Aroma and flavour of medium roast malts, mild coffee, a slight acidity (which was claimed to be unintentional), blackberries / bramble. Fairly nice beer.

Mi2 på Cardinal 9.12. ble en veritabel julekalender, ikke minst takket være Luis' presentasjon av canadiske øl, alle på 0,473 bokser, unntatt denne siste som var en 0,75 flaske: brunsvart med fint skum so varer.Saftig og lett sursyrlig - mørke malter, noe kaffe og bjørnebær.

A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light coffee, light berries, alcohol warmth, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light mineral notes, light coffee, powdery mouthfeel, alcohol warmth, very nice. Bottle at Oktoberfest de Repentigny 2024.
