Dreams of Brew York 2024 takes inspiration from the classic festive flavours of apple and cinnamon. Heaps of juicy apples combine with spicy cinnamon with lactose rounding off the tartness perfectly.

Can from Ebenezers, Nantwich – drank at home. Pours a pale straw with an extremely transient frothy off-white head. There’s apples and spices in the aroma. In the mouth it is fairly sour but with an underlying sweetness. Apples and cinnamon are to the fore in the flavour, but there is also grape juice and hints of allspice and vanilla. Sweetness lasts into the finish. This is decent, but not really much sourness in it.

The first television I remember using was a get up and press the buttons on it to change channels box. Needed some force too. Brown wooden top and sides around the tube. Not much top to this sour, in fact the apple is strong enough to edge it to cider qualities, but not quite. The cinnamon here is light. Lower end sourness.

440ml can as a present, possibly from House of Trembling Madness in York. Light gold, clear with a small loose white head. Getting the advertised apple and cinnamon quite clearly on the nose; it is reasonably subtle but I can live with that. Spicy taste, again the apple is there but taking a supporting role. It's sweet with only a tinge of sourness and... is that pie I taste or am I filling in the missing flavours? Maybe a bt of vanilla. Body is light with heavy carbonation. It's not very intense but all the better for it (I'm not sure apple is a good beer flavour). Thumbs up.

This is surprisingly chill. Apple and cinnamon as advertised but not super punchy and not a lot else going on. Tasty enough though and very drinkable.
