Halfway through the barrel aging we cultured and propagated Somerset grape wild yeast from bottles of Squashed Grape, one of Andrew’s creations - a beer that brings wine and beer together. This beer goes even deeper, two brewers from opposite hemispheres create a beer homaging wine, using wild yeast from grape skins from far far away and aging it in wine barrels we personally sourced and picked up from Mudgee.
