We brewed our first ever Gose, a traditional thirst crushing north-German wheat beer! This collaboration brewed with Burnt Mill and Whiplash used a grist of 60% Wheat and 40% Pils malt and was soured with our house lactic culture. This beer had a subtle dose of coriander, a healthy amount of Irish sea salt to promote a smooth and round palate, and was dry-hopped with Sabro and Loral – it is tart, lemony and bright – bring on the sun!

Can. Light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and has a nice minerally crispness. Light malts, a good light level of sweetness for a gose. Slightly sharp lemon into a softer piney generic citrus. Just a modest savoury note here. Light semi dry finish. Crisp and bright and drinkable, that said, could certainly dial up the intensity for me.

Keg @ Drink? Hebden Bridge. Hazy dirty blonde with a creamy head. Has a citrus heavy dirtier hoppiness, but decent, with a lower sourness factor.
