7-Fiddy bottle picked up at Kernel's beer dungeon. It pours hazy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, white grape, gooseberry, lacto, lemon rind, sherbet and sour candy. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, vinous, white grape, gooseberry, granny smith apples, fresh acidity, sherbet, oak, good mouth - pucker and minerals with a dry/tart finish. Medium body and fine - moderate lively carbonation. Fresh and bright. Well - rounded and quaffable. Pretty delicious stuff.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at the brewery. Pours clear orange-gold with a fizzy white head that fades away immediately. The aroma has pleasant tangy wood, lemon, apples, hay. Light sweet flavour with nicely rounded lemony tartness, a bit of woody, oaky dryness, soft alcohol, mild acidity, apple skin. Light to medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Finishes with mellow alcohol warmth, lightly biting citric tartness, touches of butter, just a nip of bitter straw, more woody dryness. Nicely layered. Good stuff.

Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Strong chardonnay nose. Palate is light, dry and minerally crisp. Tart winey grape. A little gueuzey vibe. Mild tangy bitterness. Light finish. My kinda saison.
