Generous quantities of Simcoe and Summit hops collide with our New England Ale yeast to create layers of pine and citrus, underlined by a deep resinous dankness in this highly quaffable, modern IPA.

14 May 2019. At Dok Brewing Company, Ghent. Shared with Anke! Pours hazy yellow with a slowly thinning, frothy, white head. Aroma of ripe peach, nectarine, orange peel, pineapple, sorbet, onion, herbs, eucalyptus, vague sweat. Taste is light fruity, ripe but subtle peach, apple & pineapple, vague banana somewhere, sourish touch of lime into a hoppy bitter core of mandarin & grapefruit peel, bitter apple slices, spicy touch on restrained bready-doughy malts. Dry, earthy hoppy finish, a bit floral, with lingering fruit rinds & spices. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Bit of a 'harsher' NEIPA, nicely done & balanced.

Can from the brewery in Bermondsey and drunk at home. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Fresh hop flower aroma. Lovely Simcoe kicks in. Good grapefruit and gooseberry. Slightly sharp fruit adds to bitter finish. Good fruit. Good sharp bitterness reminds me a bit of a greengage fruit. A sharp yellow plum fruit. Yes I like this IPA its sharp it's got character and good intense fruit. Good black pepper bitterness. Good

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at the brewery. Pours unclear gold with a foamy, white head. Gorgeous beer, some nice piney bitterness to it alongside juicy citrus fruits, understated pale malts, melon, rind. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Subtle resin in the finish, more citrus fruits, moderate rindy bitterness, hints of pine, pale bread. Excellent balance but still has nice intensity.
